Ontario Source Watershed Protection Plans

  • GBA has participated in many meetings as these plans get finalized. The Great Lakes are now included and we will be monitoring the plans to ensure they include protection of Georgian Bay waters from quantity and quality perspectives

Water Levels subcommittee:

The Water Levels subcommittee is part of the Environment Committee which is responsible for Air Quality, Water Quality and Water Levels. These three issues are inextricably linked – air pollution causes climate change, which leads to more evaporation, which affects water levels, which can have a permanent impact on the fragile Georgian Bay ecosystem.
